Taking a page out of another playbook so to speak here is my 12 character meme.

1. Melanie Hamilton (Gone with the Wind)
2. C.K. Dexter Haven (The Philadelphia Story)
3. Elinor Dashwood (Sense and Sensibility)
4. Eve Harrington (All About Eve)
5. Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice)
6. Rick Blaine (Casablanca)
7. Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars)
8. John Chrichton (Farscape)
9. Catherine Sloper (The Heiress)
10. James T Kirk (Star Trek)
11. Emma Woodhouse (Emma)
12. Princess Ann (Roman Holiday)

Which would make a better college professor, 6 or 11? What subjects would they teach?

Rick Blaine or Emma Woodhouse. Well neither one is really the classic professor, although Emma does love to instruct people on how they should act. Rick would probably be better at it as he would probably take the job more seriously. Rick could perhaps teach business management or something while Emma would probably be teaching you how to win friends and influence people.

Do you think 4 is hot? How hot?

Well Anne Baxter is pretty good looking. Eve is a little more subtle in her charms but she clearly has that element to her.

12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?

Well so the Princess sends our intreped astronaut on a mission. Probalby she wants to get away from it all and Chrichton obliges by sending her through a wormhole to take a vacation on Moya.

What is or would be 9's favorite book?

Catherine Sloper's favorite book. Well she doesn't spend much time reading onscreen so its not entirely clear. Given her upbringing she'd probably enjoy The Prince by Machiavelli.

Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?

Both Haven and Blaine are notable for their defiance of authority so I can't really see either one of them swearing fealty to anyone let alone each other.

For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should 5 share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?

Hmmm so Lizzie is looking for an a roommate. Well Kirk is clearly not the right sort of person so I guess she'd be better off with Catherine. Who knows maybe some of her spirit would rub off on her.

7, 2 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?

Well lets see a Jedi and a Princess and a rich guy walk into a bar ... no wait wrong question. Probably Ann would take them to a nice Italian cafe. They could then share stories about how they are misunderstood and no one gets that even though they have so much privilidge their lifes isn't always a bowl of cherries.

3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?

Well its hard to see how sensible Elinor would challenge anyone to a duel let alone Kirk. If somehow Elinor did get forced into this situation she'd presumably find some way to get out of it discretion being the better part of valor.

If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would 8 get it back?

Well aside from the laughable notion of Melanie stealing from anyone if Melanie did somehow steal something important from Chrichton he's presumably come up with some ingenious plan involving some mix of aliens wormholes and weaponry.

Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

Anakin Skywalker and Princess Anne "The Day the Privlidged were Finally Understood."

What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?

Well Melanie has an angel's heart and Eve is willing to do what it takes to get her way so all you need is a Gone with the Wind type scenario where Eve's manipulations are misinterpreted by Melanie as having a noble reason.

If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?

A weekend with Anakin. Sounds like a recipe for a lot of entertaining times maybe he could use the Jedi mind trick on my sillier opponents (or maybe not but I'm sure we'd amuse ourselves).

If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?

Elinor: explain how you keep yourself serene and detatched even when life gets its craziest.

Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11?

Well I have seen pictures representing Emma but I dont't think anyone I knows has tried. I would be very interested to see the results of any attempt though.

If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?

Haven having to choose between the tricksy Eve and the strong willed Elizabeth. Since Elizabeth would probably remind him of Tracy Lord to some degree and Haven is basically a good guy he'd probably come down on Elizabeth's side although Eve would probably tempt him.

What might 10 shout while charging into battle?

One word is enough: KHHAAAAANNNNN!!!!!

If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?

Well a logical choice for the wandering Chrichton would be "When I get Home" by the Beatles

1, 6 and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?

Well Melanie is so good hearted she'd clearly defer to the others. Between Rick and Ann its not clear. Ann might be more interested in something new and take it. On the other if that is a common food for a princess she'd probably let Rick have it.

What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?

To quote Katharine Hepburn "I think not"

What would 5 most likely be arrested for?

Well although Elizabeth Bennet is the defiant type she doesn't really strike me as a lawbreaker. Maybe some sort of civil disobedience.

What is 6's secret?

Why he can't return to the United States of course.

If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?

Emma racing Catherine tough question. Probably Emma would be more amused by the contest and would therefore try harder and get there first.

3 and 7 tell conflicting versions of events. Which is more reliable?

Hmmm lets see, a Jedi who can mess with head vs the ever reliable Elinor. Somehow I think I'm taking her version over Anakin's.

1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that 11 is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest." What title would you give this fic? Name three people on your friends list who might read it. Name one person who should write it.

Interesting scenario, Melanie and Catherine are reluctantly (seems about right) working to stop Eve Harrington's sinister society. They are being helped by Emma they think but she is really a spy. Meanwhile Eve has kidnapped the Princess (seems thematic enough) to try to stop Melanie and Catherine's unlikely alliance. Melanie and Catherine are referred from Elizabeth to Elinor. Given the mixture of pure hearts and black hearts in this story I have to take a page from Red Dwarf and call this story Angels and Demons.

If you had to walk home through a bad neighbourhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?

I think I'd take the Jedi as I wouldn't be very worried about being held up with Anakin around. Not that Chrichton would be a bad choice I'd feel pretty secure with either guy around.
